Google Chrome Download Settings: Ask where to save each file before downloading

When exporting Deposit files from CommandMC, there's nothing so annoying as having to go to your Downloads folder, then have to drag-and-drop the newly exported file to an organized folder, before importing to AccountEdge.

You also don't want to change your default Download Location for this, as that affect other downloads that have nothing to do with this. Using the following setting gives you total control over where files will be downloaded, before the download actually takes place:

1. Open your Google Chrome browser, click the ellipses icon, , at the top right of the page, then select Settings from the bottom of the drop-down.

2. On the left side of the page, select Downloads, then use the toggle labeled Ask where to save each file before downloading.

• There's no save button in Chrome Settings, so you can close the window, once you turn the toggle on.

Now, whenever you download something, using Chrome, you will get to select where it will go first. If it's something other than Deposits, you can just click Save, as it wants to default to the Downloads folder.
