Dual Affiliated Associate Role - Associate in More Than One MC

Agents can be active in more than one Keller Williams Market Center. If an associate is looking to be added to more than one Market Center in the same region, consult with your Managing Broker or Broker of Record to ensure that it is in compliance with state and area rules/regulations.

When an associate who is already on another Market Center's roster is ready to join your Market Center, there is an easy way to add them to your Market Center without them having them go through the KW Joining Portal process.

When an agent is active in more than one Market Center, the system automatically tracks Royalty paid, so there is no tracking necessary. Company Dollar is set per Market Center, and there is no visibility between each Market Center into what an agent has paid in. Market Centers do have the ability to edit the agent's Company Dollar Cap Amount and split.

Which MC Charges the Associate?

When you have a dually affiliated associate, the agent has the ability to select which Market Center is their Primary MC, which affects who charges the associate for different fees collected by KWRI:

• Associate Tech Fee - in the KW Profile, the agent will select where their monthly Market Center fees will be billed.
• Commercial Fees - in the KW Profile, the agent will select where their monthly Market Center fees will be billed.
• Annual Renewal Fee $25 - in the KW Profile, the agent will select where their profit or growth share annual fees will be billed.
• KWRI Awards - the Market Center with the most recent enroll date will have full visibility into the associate's full awards verification statuses, even if some qualifying transactions are booked in another Market Center. 
• Family Reunion Registration (for awards and medallions) - the Market Center with the most recent enroll date will be the Market Center attached to the associate's awards and medallion status. In these situations, the associate must enter the Market Center number with the most recent enroll date in order for the Market Center to automatically receive the associate's awards medallions and not have to purchase it at an additional cost later. If the associate believes themselves registered and has the most recent enroll date in your Market Center, but does not appear on your Family Reunion roster, please assist the associate in editing their registration to name your Market Center for affiliation; this must be completed before December 31 in order for the medallion to be automatically sent to your Market Center at no extra charge.
