What is Heatseeker?
A leads management platform that allows you to see the probability if an agent would leave the market center and allows you to recruit agents outside of our KW Offices. Heatseeker utilizes a KW developed set of Retention and Recruitment metrics along with a different kind of lead capability.
Where can I find Heatseeker data?
- Recruitment leads are delivered weekly to the Recruit Management Database in Command MC.
- Retention data are delivered monthly via the Heatseeker Retention Risks Report, found within mykw.kw.com.
How often is the data refreshed?
- Recruitment leads- weekly
- Retention data- monthly
My Heatseeker Recruitment report is delivering too many recruits can I change how many recruits I receive?
Yes. You can change 5 variables that impact metrics:
- Radius - How big is the circle used to identify agents for recruitment leads
- Center Point of Circle - LAT/LONG of the center point. The default is your market center.
- Zip Codes - Restrict search field to specific zip codes within your designated circle.
- Recruit Lead Score - HOT, WARM,COLD. Most likely to least likely to leave.
- Status of Report - Turn the report on or off
How do the Heatseeker metric variables work?
- Each metric variable stacks so that as you add in each variable, the search field is narrowed further.
- Example: Radius: 30 miles , LAT/LONG (new coordinates 10 miles from market center coordinates), WARM recruit lead score.
- These customizations will return any recruit that is HOT or WARM found within the 30 mile radius defined by the LAT/LONG center point of the search circle.
- Think of each of these variables as an “Add”. 30 mile radius AND Warm and HOT recruits found within a circle whose center point is the new LAT/LONG entered.
- Zip Codes are stand alone metrics. You cannot request a radius around a zip code. If you enter Zip/Postal codes into the Heatseeker request, your results will only contain recruits from those zip codes or postal codes.
How do I request a change of my Heatseeker report?
Reach out to your RTT with the change requests you need. Your RTT will work with Regional Leadership to confirm and approve the change requests. Once the Regional Leadership has approved your request, your RTT will submit a ticket to the Regional Support Team.
What are the default metric variables for Heatseeker?
- 25 mile radius
- Market Center address is the center point of your circle
- No postal codes listed
- HOT recruit score
What is the deadline to submit changes to the Heatseeker report?
All change requests must be made by 4:00 pm Central time every Friday.
When will I see my new recruits in CommandMC?
The Heatseeker report is refreshed every Monday and new recruit data will be visible in your Recruits Pipeline in Command MC by Tuesday mid-day at the latest.
Why does the retention report only update once a month?
The retention report utilizes the agent’s transactions and production from within Command. This information is currently updated once a month during end of month Transmittal.
What day can I expect to see my Retention Report data?
The Retention Report updates should be available by the 10th of each month.
Best Practices for Submitting changes to Heatseeker:
- Zip codes should be listed as a continuous line separated by a comma.
- If you have a very large number of zip codes to submit you can use a spreadsheet to submit the zip codes.
- There is no need to add the city names
- If you are wanting to recruit in 2 specific areas around the Market Center, it is best to submit a list of all the zip codes encompassing that search area
- Make sure your shared spreadsheet has EDIT privileges for any @kw.com email address.
Can I request to have a 15 mile radius around our Market Center and a 20 mile radius around our Business Center?
No. The search is centered on the MC. If you want to include search areas around a Business Center, it is recommended that you either move your center point by selecting a LAT/LONG that is between both the MC and the BC and increasing the radius to include the entire area you wish to receive, OR you may submit all of the zip codes/postal codes that make up the area you wish to recruit.
