KWRI will submit agents' and teams' prior-year production to Real Trends by the end of March this year. Real Trends will send verification notices to all Market Centers, including a link to submit correction requests. If your Market Center does not receive this email by mid-April, please reach out to rankings@realtrends.com to request that the verification and correction link be resent.

Verification and correction surveys will close in April. In the absence of completed surveys, Real Trends will use the KWRI-provided information as submitted. 

Data Verification Process 

Verifying your associate data on a consistent, monthly basis is key to accurate reporting. The data stored in your Market Center's Transaction system and the Team Tool are used to communicate agent production to Real Trends, KW Awards (Family Reunion awards), Referral Network, and more.

First deadline: December 20, 2025

Here is what you can do to ensure you are communicating accurate production data to all sources:

Verify your Team & Group info. Confirm that all Team and Group members are included and that their Awards totals are accurate. Go to CommandMC Reports > Awards and review the Associate Awards reports to confirm all Transactions have been applied to the Team/Group. Note that these reports may not be available until the end of the 3rd quarter for the next year's reporting. Print the Team Awards Verification Detail and confirm all information — including start dates and roles — with the rainmaker of each team.

Review team member details in the CommandMC Team Management Tool. Check each team member's start and end dates and roles. Note that changes to start and end dates in the Team Tool can be backdated to 1/1 of the current year, but updates to role start dates cannot be backdated. You can also review the Team & Group reports under CommandMC> Reports > Teams for additional details.

Verify that all Residential and Commercial transactions are coded correctly in Transactions. The Property Type dictates whether a transaction counts toward residential or commercial production.

Post-FR verification window. Following Family Reunion, the verification window reopens to allow for Real Trends production submission accuracy. 

Correcting Transactions: Units, volume, or team attribution corrections can be made by using the Post-Closing Correction adjustment tool in CommandMC. Any corrections requiring a financial correction must be made with a transaction adjustment.

What are the qualifications for National/State Rankings?

To qualify for the Real Trends Verified National/State rankings, you must meet our minimum production thresholds:

• An Individual Agent must close 25 residential transaction sides OR $10 million in closed sales volume
• A Team must close 40 residential transaction sides OR $16 million in closed sales volume

If you do not meet the qualifications for National/State, you can still submit to City Rankings if you qualify based on minimum production. We will rank you within your city and create/update your Real Trends Verified profile.

What production qualifies for submission?

Real Trends Verified only counts residential real estate transactions (residential real estate homes and condos, multi-family (4 or less units) only—no leases, land, or commercial deals). We do not count commercial, referrals, land, lots, leases, multi-family (over 4 units), or rentals toward our thresholds. If you represent the buyer and seller on a transaction, you can double-count both the transaction and the volume (sales price) toward your totals. A helpful rule of thumb: if it qualified for a conventional loan, Real Trends likely accepts it.
 

What are the classifications of team sizes?

• Small: 2-5 licensed agents
• Medium: 6-10 licensed agents
• Large: 11-20 licensed agents
• Mega: 21-50 licensed agents
• Enterprise: 51+ licensed agents

Will I be submitted?

All KW agents and teams who meet RT criteria will be submitted by KWRI. 

We do not submit agents or teams who joined KW in the previous production year, as we cannot verify their production. If you fall into this category, please contact awards@kw.com for a submission discount code. 

I was left off KWRI’s submission even though I met the criteria. How can I be part of this list?

Firstly, please double-check your production and ensure no leases, land, or commercial deals are included. Read through the submission criteria above. Next, please contact awards@kw.com with your production reports and ask for a submission discount code. 

What happens after KWRI submits agents' and teams' data to Real Trends?

Real Trends emails a verification form to the Market Center (the klrw email address) for confirming every agent and team submitted by KWRI. Please look out for this email. Once you have reviewed all fields, please reply to this email with your updates (agent/team name, MC name, production changes). Real Trends collates all requested changes and funnels them back to KWRI for approval. Our data team works diligently to process each request and takes the final decision on approvals and denials. From there, the final list of KW agents and teams is published. Once this list is published in June, no change requests will be entertained.
