To ensure accurate financial reporting and maintain alignment between CommandMC/AccountEdge, all closed Transactions must be accounted for within a CommandMC Deposit, and then uploaded into AccountEdge as a Journal Entry via a Deposit download/import.
- By performing these steps regularly, you can keep key financial metrics in balance between CommandMC and AccountEdge.
- It is recommended to execute this process as frequently as possible to ensure both systems are synchronized, before finalizing Month End Close.
To create a Deposit (CommandMC) and Import into AccountEdge:
Create/Export the Deposit in CommandMC
1. Log in to https://agent.kw.com with your KW login credentials.
2. At the top of the page, click CommandMC.
3. Click to access the Transactions Applet, , on the left side of the page.
4. Click the Deposit tab, which will also put you on the Create Deposit sub-tab.
5. To start creating a new Deposit, use the checkboxes to select 1 or more Transactions (or select the checkbox in the header to select all outstanding Transactions), in the Outstanding Transactions section.
- You can select any number of outstanding Transactions to include in a Deposit.
- You can only download 1 Deposit at a time, so be purposeful with the number of Transactions you include in your Deposit.
- As you select Transactions, you will see the cumulative financial totals populate (in the Deposit Journal Entry section, to the right of the Transactions list), as well as the Total To Deposit (at the bottom of the Transactions list).
6. Once you've selected the Transaction(s) you want to include, click Create Deposit, at the bottom right of the page.
- Before you create the Deposit, you have the ability to click Preview Deposit to see a preview of the Deposit Summary.
7. Once you create the Deposit, the download will automatically start. If you set your browser to ask where to download (recommended), choose where you want the file to download to and click Save.
- If you don't have that browser setting turned on, it will appear in your Downloads folder, on your computer.
- Learn how to change your Google Chrome settings for it to ask where you want to download files to.

You can make edits to any of the information in the downloaded file, before uploading. Find and open the file, make the edits, then click File and Save. |
Import as a Journal Entry in AccountEdge
1. Open AccountEdge.
2. Click File (top left of the page), select Import Data, then Transactions, and finally Transaction Journals.
3. Ensure Tab-delimited is selected as the "Import File Format," ensure Header Record is selected as the "First Record is" and click Continue.
4. Your device's file manager will open, find and select the Deposit file.
5. Back in AccountEdge, click Match All, at the bottom of the pop-up, and ensure all of the Import Fields (left side) appear next to their matching AccountEdge Fields (right side).
6. Click Import, at the bottom right of the pop-up.
7. If it imported properly, you will see a pop-up letting you know that 1 record imported without errors. Click Ok.
Make sure you sync this change back to CommandMC, and you can download and save a Deposit Summary (from CommandMC), for your records, if needed.
