| When installing this update, it does not matter which version of Windows your machine is on. WinMORE should run fine if you are running Windows 11. |
With the deprecation of WinMORE, we have removed the connection from WinMORE to the Keller Cloud. Now when accessing WinMORE, if you receive the following message, you can install the update below to stop WinMORE from continuing to attempt to reach the Keller Cloud:
Installation Instructions for WinMORE Update
1. After clicking on OK in the error message, you should be on the WinMORE main screen.
2. Make a note of which version of WinMORE you are running. This will dictate which update file you need to install:
- If you are on version 3.9.9 or less you will need to download the WM3_9_9a update
- If you are on version 3.10.0 you will need to download the WM3_10_1 update
3. Close WinMORE.
- Make sure everyone logs out of WinMORE and ensure all permissions are set to Run As Administrator.
4. In Command, click on Connect. Then navigate to the Leadership Hub - MCAs – Scroll down to Market Center Software.
5. Download the update file based on your current WinMORE version (you must be logged into your kw.com email account to access the file).
6. Save the file in your WinMORE3\mdat\updates folder.
7. Ensure the file name matches either WM3_10_1.zip or WM3_9_9a.zip
8. Open WinMORE.
9. Click OK on any message screens.
10. Go to Setup > Install Update.
11. Click Find File and make sure it's pointed to the WinMORE3\mdat\updates folder
12. Select the filename of the file you downloaded in step 5.
13. Select Install.
14. After installation, WinMORE will close.
15. Open WinMORE and verify the version now shows 3.10.1 or 3.9.9a, depending on the update you installed.
16. This only needs to be installed on one machine running WinMORE.
WinMORE should now be in Read Only mode. DAs may be searched, viewed and printed. Reports, including Ad-hocs, may be printed. Month End, Year End and automatic backups are disabled.
