Before you can start using AccountEdge with the new Transactions and accounting system in CommandMC, we need to make sure your AccountEdge is first upgraded to version 33, and then updated to the latest version available.

If you have multiple users that have AccountEdge installed, all workstations need to be updated. This is necessary to be able to connect AccountEdge to the new Applets in CommandMC. |
To update AccountEdge for Transactions:
1. Open AccountEdge, click Help, at the top of the page, and select About AccountEdge Pro.
2. Check your version number. If the version number starts with 33, but is less than 33.0.10.1 skip step 3 and go to step 4, if the version starts with less than 33, follow step 3.
3. Update to version 33 of AccountEdge by clicking the link to this upgrade file, and download the file. Once it finishes downloading, click to install.
4. Once you are on version 33, click Help, at the top of the page, and select Check for Product Updates.
5. Follow the instructions to update AccountEdge to the latest version. When done, follow step 4 above, and you should see a message that you are up to date.
