The Standard Deductions Report found in the Reporting Applet that lists every deduction paid per transaction for each associate is useful, though at end of year the Market Center might want to provide each associate their own individual report showing their individual deductions for the year. This can be done with a pivot table after exporting the report.
1. From the Reports Applet, download the Deductions Report, using the Excel (XLSX) option.
2. In the excel file, click Insert, Pivot Table. For Table/Range, select the entire sheet. Choose to place the pivot table on a New Worksheet. Click OK.
3. To create the pivot table, begin by adding the Assoc. Full Name field to the Filters area. Add the Deduction Name field to the Rows area, and the Total Deduction Amount to the Values area.
- As you select the field, in the PivotTable Fields drawer, you can click and drag the enabled fields to the areas they belong in (Filters, Rows, Values).
4. By selecting the dropdown next to the All heading (next to Assoc. Full Name field), you can select individual associates to print a report of their YTD deductions, including the Grand Total.
5. Now that you have the ability to create a report for each associate, you might want to make the report look more professional. For instance, you could add the Market Center logo, or customize to your preference.
6. Deliver these reports to each associate.
