Each month as part of the Month End Close process, CommandMC calculates the Associate Technology fee based on the number of active associates in the market center. You can review the specific status combination included in this calculation in Associate Status Combinations - Reference Guide. If your market center includes team(s) with more than 10 members, the associate tech fee will be capped at 10 team members per team per location. The total amount of this fee is then included as part of the KWRI invoice entered in the accounting software.

Action Items:
-
If your Market Center passes the Associate Tech fee on to associates:
- Edit your associate invoices in AccountEdge and AccountEdge Connect.
- Ensure Market Center billing agreement includes charging credit cards or bank accounts, as applicable, and is part of your Market Center onboarding documents.
- Follow the Month End Close checklist and print your Fee Reconciliation Report in CommandMC Activity Reports to use when updating your invoice to KWRI.
- As part of the Month End Close checklist, update your Invoice to KWRI in AccountEdge or Lonewolf to reflect the Associate Tech Fee.
Additional Action Items for Teams of More Than 10:
-
Create a spreadsheet with each team on a separate tab for teams with more than 10 licensed associates.
- Include each member of the team and their current status in the CommandMC Associates Applet, in the team roster tab.
-
Ten agents on each team should have Activated Agent (AA) status; all other agents should have Licensed Admin (AO) status in the CommandMC Associates Applet and your spreadsheet.
- To set an agent's status to (AA), activate them as an agent in the Associates Applet.
- To set an agent's status to (AO), after you activate them as an agent, edit their production status to Licensed Admin.
- Audit your team spreadsheet monthly - before Month End Close - against your Team Tool.
|
Team production for award's purposes is based on the agent's role in the Team Tool, not their production status. |
