As your Market Center is building a list of Deductions, agents also have the ability to submit custom Deductions they want to use on future Commission Requests, either on a one-off basis or as Recurring Deductions.
Once they are submitted, leaders receive a Command Notification (and can turn these off or off for Command Mobile). You can then review, select a category, and approve (or decline). Once a Deduction is approved, you have the ability to assign agents to Deductions, and agents will then be able to select as recurring.
To review submitted Deduction Requests:
1. Log in to https://agent.kw.com with your KW login credentials.
2. Click CommandMC at the top of the page.
3. Click to access the Administration Applet, , on the left side of the page.
4. On the left side of the page, click Deductions.
- If there are pending Deduction Requests, you will see a red indicator letting you know how many requests are pending, to the right of this option.
5. Click Deduction Requests, at the top right of the page.
6. In the Deduction Requests panel, you will see the submitted requests. You can review, select a Category and Approve/Decline here, but it is recommended to click the Edit icon, , at the top right of the request, and fully review.
- The quick view doesn't show whether the requested Deduction is set to be a Private Deduction or not.
- A Private Deduction will be hidden to all agents that aren't associated with it, meaning it will not be visible to agents when they select Deductions on Commission Requests (or when they are setting up Recurring Deductions). Private Deductions can only have one agent associated with it, though one agent can be associated with multiple Private Deductions.
- A good example for this is a private child support deduction. It would only apply to one agent, and they would not want all of the agents in the Market Center to see it in the list of selectable deductions when completing a Commission Request.
7. In the Edit Deduction Request modal, you will see all of the details. You wont' be able to approve until you select a Category (you can also create a new category using this drop-down). Once you select a Category, you can edit any of the information and then click to Save & Approve or Decline.
Once you approve a Deduction, a Recurring Deduction amount will need to be added separately, if this is meant to be a Recurring Deduction (this could also just be a Deduction an agent wants to select in the future, on a one-off basis).
- If this isn't a Private Deduction, the agent will be able to set their own Recurring Deduction amounts in their profile.
- If this is a Private Deduction, you must set the Recurring Deduction amount, the agent won't have access. Once set, the agent won't be able to remove or edit the Deduction on Commission Requests.
