Heatseeker has been a great initiative to get access to recruit leads. But now, you can be purposeful in searching for potential recruits within CommandMC. We have a new search experience where you can pick a city or zip/postal code, use production filters, and set up SmartViews to identify potential recruits.
You will then see potential recruit results, with primary location, brokerage, production info and contact info. Once found, there is an easy button to add the recruit(s) to your Recruit Management Database and Pipeline.
To search for potential recruits in CommandMC:
Access
1. Log in to https://agent.kw.com with your KW login credentials.
2. At the top of the page, click CommandMC.
3. Click the Recruits icon, ,on the left sidebar.
4. Click the Find an Agent tab, at the top of the page,
Search for Potential Recruits
First thing we need to do is run an initial search, or you can use a SmartView you have already created. The only required field for this search is "Service Area," though there are some fields here that lets you get purposeful, if you know who you are looking for. In the next section, we'll see further search options, as well as the ability to create SmartViews.
1. Before searching, if there is a SmartView you have already created, you can select it at the top here.
2. (Required) For the search, enter a city or zip/postal code service area, and select the desired result from the drop-down. You can select multiple service areas in this way, which will broaden the results you will see.
- You can also click to Draw Service Area Boundary. This will pull up a map where you can draw a service areas boundary. Any zip/postal code that touches the drawn area (even if only a little) will then be included in the service area search, though you can remove any specific areas later.
3. (Optional) You can also type in search parameters around a specific Agent Name or Office/Brokerage Name.
- The results you will see for Office Name are mixed. For national brokerages, some show as a national LLC and some show as a specific branch name, while independent local brokerages are easier to search for. When searching for a national brokerage, you might need to keep your search term more general.
4. (Optional) You will see a Production Status section with "Red One" (agents who have closed less than 7 units in the last 12 months) and "Red Two" (agents who have closed 8 or more units in the last 12 months) filters, and a Heatseeker Score section where you can filter by Heatseeker score.
- Once you have selected a production status filter, you can click Clear to remove the filter.
4. (Optional) There are additional production filters, where you can enter specific values for various unit/volume categories, and then select At Least (minimum), Exactly, or At Most (maximum).
- All of these metrics are based off of the Last Twelve Months (LTM), which is a rolling 12 month period, and is not based on a calendar year-to-date basis.
5. Click Search, at the bottom right of the page.
Customize Search Results and Create SmartViews
1. You will see your search results, and you can edit your search & Filter parameters on the left side of the page.
2. With the actual search results, you can click the Customize Columns icon, , at the top right of the results table. This allows you to select or deselect which columns appear in the table (left column), and drag-and-drop the fields into the order you want them to appear (right column). Click Apply,
3. Once you get the columns you want in the right order, you have the ability to sort by most of the columns. You can also resize the column widths by clicking to the right of the column and dragging to the size you want it.
4. Once you get everything (search, sort, included columns, column size) set up the way you want it, you can create it as a SmartView so you can select this set up quickly in the future. Click Create, at the top left of the page, enter the SmartView Name and choose whether you want this to be the default SmartView. Click Create.
5. Once you add SmartViews, click the SmartView selector and you can select the one you want to view.
6. When a SmartView is selected, if you make changes to any search parameters or set up, you can click to Update the SmartView.
7. You can also click to Manage SmartViews, which allows you to Rename or Delete any of the SmartViews, as well as select a new default.
Add to Recruit Database/Pipeline
1. When you find one or more recruits to add to your Recruit Database, use bulk actions to select any number of recruits, then click Add to Recruits.
2. You have two options here:
- Immediately click Add, at the bottom of the modal, to add them to the Recruit Management Database only. This would allow you to follow up before deciding to add to the Recruit Pipeline or not.
- Check the Recruiting Pipeline checkbox, then select the Phase and Stage to add the recruit(s) to, in addition to them being added to the Recruit Management Database. Click Add.
You will then be able to find these recruits where you wanted to manage them, and the data you saw in the search will be included in their recruit record.
