| Our system doesn't use the listing information from KWLS 1.0 (in mykw.kw.com) anymore. We now focus on the MLS IDX feed in Command, which we call KWLS 2.0. All of the listing issues and solutions are focused on this MLS IDX feed, which feeds all of the listing data in Command/CommandMC, as well as our KW Sites and Apps. |
1. Issue: My listing is on MLS and not in KWLS
- This indicates that there is an interruption in data flowing from MLS to KWLS
Solution:
- Confirm Market Center MLS IDs Find Your Market Center MLS IDs in CommandMC.
- Each MLS ID should have an active IDX feed Request a New Market Center IDX Feed for Command / Check the Status of a Market Center IDX Request for Command.
- Confirm the Agent’s MLS ID is correct in their Command MC profile Add/Edit an Agent's MLS ID in CommandMC.
- Is an agent’s listings is showing in KWLS but cannot attached it to an offer please have the agent claim the listing in Command.
2. Issue: I’m seeing listings that don’t belong to my Market Center
- This indicates that there is a duplicate office MLS ID in the MC experiencing the issue and the MC that the listings should belong to.
Solution:
- Confirm Market Center MLS IDs Find Your Market Center MLS IDs in CommandMC.
- The MC will need to remove the listings from the listings taken Validate Listings Taken Metrics (US/CAN).
3. Issue: My agent cannot attach their listing to an offer. There are two possibilities on why this can happen.
- (1) The listing was attached to an offer that fell through and the listing did not release properly from that transaction.
Solution: This will need to be escalated to our engineers so that they can correct the issue. Send in a ticket to MCA Support.
- (2) The listing is not attached to the agent therefore cannot be attached to the offer.
Solution: The agent will need to claim the listing in Command. This will connect all the agent's listings to the agent going forward (This is a one time sync and will not need to be done again).
4. Issue: I have an unassigned listing that I cannot assign an agent to (It’s grayed out)
- If the listing came over during the replication process you will not be able to assign it. One of the Go Live Checklist items was to assign any unassigned listings before the replication process. You will not be able to edit a listing in a prior period.
Solution: The agent will need to claim the listing in Command.
