Edit Transaction Settings in CommandMC – Leadership Answers

We have some new settings in Transactions that can help save a ton of manual work. These settings include the ability to edit your Market Center's default Cash GL Account Number, Sales Tax ID, Sales/Leases E&O default payment amounts per Transaction, and you can now choose which MC Name displays on your Transaction Report downloads (DBA Name or Legal Name).

The defaults you set here will only apply to future manually created Transactions and Deposits, in CommandMC.

The E&O amounts you enter here will not populate on agent created Commission Requests. You would still need to edit the submitted Commission Request and manually add any E&O that is required.

For the MC Name on Transaction Reports (Disbursement Authorization (DA) form, Agent Commission Details Report, Trade Record (with fields for signatures), and Commission Demand), you will see the change reflected in the next report you download.

To edit Transaction Settings in CommandMC:

1. Log in to https://agent.kw.com with your KW login credentials.

2. At the top of the page, click CommandMC.

3. Click to access the Transactions Applet, , on the left side of the page.

4. At the top right of the page, click the Settings icon, .

5. In the form, set the defaults for each field that you want defaults set for, then click Save, at the bottom right of the form.

Cash GL Account for Deposits - This is the MC’s Depository Account and the account is set up as the default for commission deposits. The account number you enter here will take over as the new default for future deposits, in place of 1-0200 (the system default).
Sales Tax ID - your Market Center tax ID, or Employer Identification Number (EIN). This is mainly used by our Canadian Market Centers for GST/HST taxes, but if a US Market Center enters theirs here, it won't hurt anything.
Sales E&O - Errors and Omissions (E&O) Insurance is a type of liability insurance that covers claims against your business. Enter the default E&O amount you want to auto-populate in agent commission details for sale transactions.
Leases E&O - Errors and Omissions (E&O) Insurance is a type of liability insurance that covers claims against your business. Enter the default E&O amount you want to auto-populate in agent commission details for lease transactions.
MC's Name Used in Commission Statement - the choice you make here will populate in the Transaction Reports (Disbursement Authorization (DA) form (with fields for signatures), Agent Commission Details Report, Trade Record (with fields for signatures), and Commission Demand) you download for a Transaction.
